High performance versions of World2XP ?

Featured Replies

At the .org some alternative textures were added to the File Library, including reduced / optimized textures for Europe and USA as well as World models.

Any one tried it yet ?

I already did this with the the latest world-models library so I'm not sure how much further the textures will go, but anything that reduces the memory usage should improve performance. Please let me know how you get on

I can try Frankfurt or Hamburg area , I have the W2XP_europe from simheaven and have already last night put the new texture set.

ALmost done loading the flight. But I expect nothing more than 12 fps in Europe with W2XP.

As I said 12 fps for me so it was around 11 and the flight was actually smooth.

Jose go ahead and try Frankfurt helipad , in the airport load screen type "Frankfurt" and select the last helipad great view
