Double PAPI lights

I know what you're talking about but this is not it. Doesn't matter how many sets the PAPI's are doubled up no matter what

I see what you mean. Check your scenery library - there might be a duplication of something.

I don't think its a duplication of anything it fades away and becomes one when i get closer

Might be a long shot but do you have My Traffic 6 installed? If so, navigate to the MyTraffic6/Scenery folder (or wherever you installed it) and search out a .bgl file for that airport. Usually called something like BR2_XXXX.bgl or something like that. Simply change the .bgl extension to .off (or something like that). This will not affect you AI traffic at all. It does not matter that you AI scenery is lower in the library, it can still sneak through to add-on airports above it in the library and cause issues.

I now disable any scenery in the AI's scenery folder regardless when I install an add on airport. By simply renaming the relevant airport bgl file, it is easy to see which ones are deactivated and also very easy to reactivate by changing the name back again if need be.

Alternatively, as you mention this happens at ALL your airports, you might be seeing a "reflection". Try changing your dynamic reflections and perhaps other lighting settings in the sim and see what happens.

I've had MT 6 for a while without this problem. It only started happening recently not sure what i have changed.

Will try dynamic reflection

The one set of PAPI lights seems to be much dimmer than the other. Makes me think it is an anomaly to do with shadows or reflections or lighting settings in the sim. Or maybe you have some edits in NI?

Someone on the P3D forum had a similar issue with double PAPI's but they were using Aerosoft airports designed for FSX. If you have installed FSX airports into your P3D, might expect some issues for sure.

Hi greg. Its certainly a P3D problem happens on default airports too. Haven't installed any FSX airports into P3D.

Also i don't don't use NI.

Cheers
