June 4, 201610 yr This has to be one of the best rendered and scenic airports/area of Orbx that I now own. This purchase was worth every penny, let alone the asking dollar figure. Here are some of the shots I took on the maiden taxi, after purchase. Alex Geoff did an amazing job with this project...and here is the taxi storyboard, up to my obtaining the active, P3D v3.2.3/Orbx Global/Orbx HD Trees/ASN/ Rex Direct 4 Glimmer for waves/Real Shader/Ultimate Terrain (latest version) Just last September, my wife and I rented a cottage for two weeks, and hiked all over Acadia National Park. This very outcropping and top (in the following picture, right below the wings of the DA42), over the inland lake, had she, I, and our Doberman standing upon the lookout..and in real life, the view is breathtaking!!!! There is a trail that you hike around that lake, with a great Welcome Centre that has a bistro for your food and beverage entertainment. Then, we drove to the 'Diamond', and viewed the whole town of Bar Harbor, at the top of the circular look-out. A tip...if you go to Acadia...make sure you have really good Hiking Boots. Seriously, you will need them! We drove down to the town, and had a fantastic wood-fired pizza upon the deck. Later, took the three-masted tour boat out for a sail, beyond the islands and into the ocean mouth. One of the best vacations we have ever taken...and especially with the Fall colors starting to change. Oh, if you ever go there...be sure to check out the Sheep House store (or whatever it is called, in the town of Bar Harbor...and get some great Sheep-Skin slippers...I'm wearing them right now, lol Just Google Sheep-Skin and Bar Harbor together....you will find it.... June 4, 201610 yr Author Gorgeous set of shots my friend, i agree the scenery has immense detail. :smile: Thank you, all. It really comes alive, when you have so recently been there, on the ground, as my wife and I have. The minute I saw this released, is was so purchased! I certainly was not disappointed by Alex Goff, by any means. I was there again...especially when flying over that top of the rock outcropping that you take a meandering trail up to through some most beautiful forested areas! You stand there...and look down upon that lake...for a simply spectacular view. Heck...ALL of Acadia, no matter where you are, can be described as such. God's country..... Cheers! Mitch
