PlayHorizon VFR Scotland Volume 4 The Western Isles is one of the best looking photoscenery packages available for the UK. The sheer amount of watermasking that must have been done for this product is staggering, and the consistency of colour and texture quality is very high. It's a real pleasure to fly around this area in P3D or FSX.

I think it was Paul's finest along with Shetland. Just a pity the rest of Scotland is so washed-out.

BTW Chris, have you had any issues with the Playsims DVD's degrading?. A couple of years back on of my England packs would not instal with a corrupt file, even though the disk was pristine, and they sent me a new copy. Now I have the same issue again, with a corrup file rendering Vol.3 fit for the bin.

What addon are the autogen buildings from please?

RevolutionX from Just Flight.

The Horizon DVDs all seem to be working OK for me, although I try not to use them too often!

Horizon Generation X.

Thanks.

This is no longer for sale correct? I wish I had purchased it when it was available.

There seems to be some still available from flightstore.co.uk

I also saw this on Tony Meridith's site http://www.arm-computers.co.uk/News/news.html which is interesting.

My previous agreement with Horizon Simulations to supply Volumes 3 & 7 of the VFR Photo Series in association with Scotflight has now ended

I would like to thank the guys at Scotflight for handling the advertising and sales during the last two months.

I can advise that Horizon are now looking to re-market all ten volumes via various media and possibly download. I am not aware of a time scale but you can register an interest by visiting the Horizon site: http://www.horizonsimulation.com

I've only used this copy once, so I'm at a loss and peed off. I wish I had not been a good boy and destroyed my v1.0 disks. I used those many, many times with no issues.

EDIT: I have just noticed that the "arrangement" between Horizon and Tony Meredith/Scotflight is no longer in operation. I would be interested to know why that is the case....
