July 6, 20169 yr I fly the 737ngx. I have pfpx and ASNext but uncertain as to how best get them working together in real time flights. Is there a way to get the realtime weather into the FMS in the 737NGX apart from manual entry? Len Carne
July 6, 20169 yr Hi, The company datalink to upload the winds aloft in the NGX has not been implemented (yet). So you have to enter manually the winds. You can do it for each waypoint individually with the winds given by PFPX or ASN or just enter an average wind speed and direction (given in ASN in the briefing page) in the init perf page which for short trips is usually accurate enough. July 7, 20169 yr I do a combination for long flights.. using the average wind and temp during preflight then if the fuel remaining looks close to plan I'll enter the segment winds later after TOC when I have the time. I don't bother with every segment unless the values are significantly different or unless I'm oceanic and the segments are >300 nm. Dan Downs KCRP
