Using the link you supplied is the one I tried using before. The first time it worked but the zip file was corrupt so I tried again but then i got incorrect serial key message. Does it only allow one download? I dont see how it knows I am not the original buyer either...

Sorry, I was logged in... I will try again though based on your advice. I did try to download there - entered the product key/registration key (is there a difference?) and had a message saying INVALID key. I tried twice to contact them for support and was told to provide an invoice which of course I dont have.

I bought my boxed version of the 737NGX privately a few years back. It seems I am unable to upgrade to SP1d as I did not buy direct off PMDG or flightsimstore. Is this correct? I also found that it is not possible to raise a ticket on PMDG any more - just access to their rather scanty 'Knowledge Base'. I have SP1c at the moment which I did manage to update somewhere and now need the SP1d in order to get a virtual CDU up and running on a tablet. TIA

Get REX and use a lights option called 3something or other... It will fix it for sure - had this trouble myself

Wow Simon! thanx for your PhD thesis in answer to my question. Will try again using rudder until wing level - I was hard over on both rudder and aerelon and crashed - no time for niceities like QRH etc LOL. Thnx once again. I fly a livery G-DOCX as a NGX 800 - it was the last BA Boeing 737... maybe i will join BA virtual some day but i guess it has to be an airbus huh? Dont wanna do 747 yet. Anyway some hints and tips would be much appreciated, His engine failures were due to volcanic ash as I remember so his pito tubes etc were affected too. What a guy tho... landing visual thro the side window. Balls or what!!

I am keen to do some check ride things like V1 or V2 cut . However I always end up crashing. Guess thats why its a checkride item huh? lol Anyway some hints and tips would be much appreciated, I dare not even suggest that its not simulated in the PMDG 737NGX!!

I use the arrival ATIS for wind and choose an appropriate runway from that. Put a suitable STAR in fmc and away you go. I use ASN to get the weather and tune radio to 122.00 as I get close. If you're high or fast just use the fmc to hold at a fix on the flight plan. Also dont assign a STAR on departure - you just waste time deleting it later and get in a right mess with discos etc

I am using easydok with PMDG737NGX . Would be really useful to have a separate window in plan view of the aircraft as it taxis around the airport so you can find your way around. Has anyone any ideas how to do this? BTW anyone out there remember the old Dos program AS2 by Simon Hradeki - great sim and that had the airport map feature too

Thanks for the reply Budbud. Yes I have 1607 for for the 737NGX But what about the charts.. I have Airport Index version 1625.0.0.0 on Navigraph charts and no updates available reported. Can you confirm your version pls?

Hi Kyle, as usual the fount of all knowledge Can you tell me why at LEBL ( Barcelona) I get in the 737NGX options like runway ILS25LY and ILS25LZ as landing runway options when the charts dont show those options. I use navigraph both for the charts and FMC database, TIA

I fly the 737ngx. I have pfpx and ASNext but uncertain as to how best get them working together in real time flights. Is there a way to get the realtime weather into the FMS in the 737NGX apart from manual entry?

The trim figure is calculated and set by the FMC. You can change it if you wish with the mouse in virtual cockpit mode - just right/left click over the trim wheel and see the trim wheel move. Click over the readout area and you will see the setting as digits (tool tip style)

Hi all, Just bought saitek pro pedals. Before I install the drivers I seem to remember reading they work better with the default fsx drivers. Is that correct? TIA

New to FSX. Read and u-tubed a lot about scenery add-ons and would like to buy but put off about the performance issues. Primarily I want to fly and not enjoy the view so much. Watching the vids on flyTampa's web site and even they cant get their scenery to run smoothly so what chance for me? I dont think the issues are so much fps - the human eye doesnt go faster than 20fps anyway so why bother about faster. What I do see though is something quite different - stuttering. It seems the sim pauses momentarily to 'catch its breath' accessing data, so maybe more RAM might help everybody rather than expensive video cards.
