July 27, 20169 yr Isn't OPUS the one with the well-known upper wind issue where it doesn't depict it accurately? or he forgot to turn off APU maybe ... ? Andre Malishkin - I am not a real pilot, but i did stay at holiday inn express -
August 9, 20169 yr I have used 100% bias for awhile now it has been pretty darn accurate. As for the winds, even though real world planning has really solid wind information, at times, I have seen landing fuel calculations be somewhat off of what the airplane gives us for landing fuel. Granted, I don't fly the 777, but it's still the way weather and planning sometimes disagree. Can't offer much but don't worry if it's off by a small margin. I would assume that long flights could create a sometimes big difference between planned landing fuel and real landing fuel. Like Kyle said, if OPUS is just screwing with your wind injection in the Sim, that's probably your problem. FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠 Matt Kubanda, 7950X3D, 64GB RAM, RTX 5090@4k, MSFS 2024
