fsx-ms Screen resolution

Hi do you have to run fsx at the same resolution as the desktop, my desktop is 1920x1080 but want to try running fsx at a lower resolution to see if this will improve performance I would like to keep running my monitor at its native resolution.

Yes you can, just change the resolution in FSX-SE setting/customize. but why?

I don't think it will hurt anything but if you fly in full screen mode don't expect it to look real good.

 

I agree with "But Why?"  I don't think it will improve performance.

Wont make a difference - leave it native

I thought it would but will leave the same as desktop
