Might I be so bold as to suggest better parking spots for your GA and Helis? Not your fault as these were not included in the Afcad along with any approaches and relevant waypoints.

Chisinau is no big airport. But the scenery has a lot to discover. Nevertheless, as Ed points out, there's still something to do.

Regarding the contact points of the An-72 - here I experience one of these strange FS9 phenomenons. The picture clearly shows that the wheels sink into the ground. But I started I new flight at LUKK just some minutes ago - now the same plane hovered above the ground...

Hello Harald, I have have just check my list of AI aircraft and to my surprise it does not include an An-72. Could you tell me where you got yours and I will check it out.

In my experience static pitch/heights are something all developers forget to check properly.

Hello Harald, is it possible you have the SBAI An-72 version 1? I have the version 2 and the contact points are nothing like yours.

 

I have tried all the tricks in the book and cannot get my An-72 to show.

 

Perhaps you would be so kind as to send me yours. I would really like some An-72/74 action.

Never mind Harald. I have been faffing about for a good half a day trying to work out why my An-74 would not show.

 

And then I came across something I did not know.

 

"In the aircraft.cfg file for each repaint there is an entry

atc_airline=

If there is anything in that line - the repaint is AIRLINE traffic.

If there is nothing in that line - the repaint is GA traffic.

 

Of course I had nothing in that line and my GA traffic off!

Oh, that was new to me, too.
