747-400 The Queen of The Skies movie by the Arkitekt

Featured Replies

Hi guys,I mentioned it sometime ago, and I even made a short teaser movie. But now, finally made from scratch is my latest movie featuring PMDG's stunning 747-400.Anyone who has read my postings and seen my video's know that I am a post production editor, so all my movies are exceptional in quality. This movie has been a challenge to make since the 747 isn't the kindest on FPS, but I think I've done well to keep it as smooth as possible. I've edited this movie on my new matrox hardware and it has made my work so much more creative and easier. Now judge the results for yourself...http://www.fs2004.com/downloads/index.php?dlid=704Sorry about the adverts... click skip to bypass them!Comments always welcomeMore movies are available at my site www.arkitekt.moonfruit.com

Awesome

Okay I watched it a second time -- I have that airport (LFPG) but where can you get that FlightParis scenery? It looks stunning!

**laughs** Wow, okay.I justdiscovered that site last night actually thanks to another thread here on AVSIM but didnt get to look hardly at all. Looking at it now. Many thanks :-)

My comment is this .. very professionally done, excellent editing and "special" effects. But what I did not like was blurriness. I was expecting a crisp video. I can see in the cocpkit how slightly out of focus everything is. If this was due to limit the size of the download - I would rather download for twice as long but enjoy sharper video.Michael J.WinXP-Home SP2,AMD64 3500+,Abit AV8,Radeon X800Pro,36GB Raptor,1GB PC3200,Audigy 2http://www.precisionmanuals.com/images/forum/747400.jpghttp://www.hifisim.com/images/asv_beta_member.jpg

Thanks for the comments guys...I really wanted to get the quality of video better, but I was working up to a limit of 50MB. I considered bringing down the quality of audio, but too me both are very important.I'm working on getting my own server, so file size limits won't be a problem!

Awesome video!Jeff

>I'm working on getting my own server, so file size limits>won't be a problem! Not sure how much transfer I have left for this month, but until you get your own web server I should be able to donate some of my space to you. I have 4GB left of my 5GB of web space.I also VERY VERY highly recommend my web host - powweb - as they have done nothing but bend over backwards for me for customer service and their interfaces are VERY easy to use.My sites on that server . . .http://guildofdarkhaven.org/flyinghttp://guildofdarkhaven.orghttp://gothic.guildofdarkhaven.orgNo banners, lots of space and it's 99 bucks a year. if you buy 2 years it's even cheaper. I work with PHP, CSS, MySql and my FTP programs work with the server flawlessly.Hope this helps.

Good show! Very well done Adrian!!Scott

Very nice. For me, some of the strobe effects are a bit overwhelming and the sepia toned, old style scratchy film effect seems out of place stylistically, but that comment only reflects my own personal taste and is not a criticism. I really enjoyed some of the camera angles later on in the movie, particularly the views during takeoff and the last sunset shot. Thanks for sharing! Your reel could qualify you for work with Tallmantz Aviation!

Thanks scott! Thanks for the feedback Cindy:)

Love it!My question is, how did you get those wing views? Ive been trying so hard to find some, but cant figure out how to get them. Mind sharing the secret? :)

Thanks Chase!Sure! You need to grab yourself a little add-on called Active Camera or another one called IGFly Walk and Follow. They both allow you to view the aircraft from different angles including awesome wing views! Both programs are excellent, and different in some ways. Its worth looking into them :)
