Terrific screenies. The color of the DC-9 panel is interesting. You see it more often on Russian aircrafts.

Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds

My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

DC-9s were available in blue, grey and brown, with most customers picking blue. Both Douglas and about every soviet design bureau must've read the same human psychology study. The Super 80s also came withn the same color palette, but brown became more popular over its production run.

More snaps from the flight deck.

Proving to a Southwest 737 that the 727 is not to be underestimated. Raced him to the runway and won.

After that, I annoyed him some more with a leisurely climbout. No warp speed from oversized hairdryers here, just straight up pure pipe power from JT8D-7As on my 727-100.

Engine out on the Metro. Quite a nasty surprise.

Early morning at CUN and it's already 20°C out. A MTOW departure a few hours later will get interesting.
