September 4, 20169 yr Hello, I'm looking for a way to find out what derate/assumed temperature to use for the takeoff. I've been doing this mostly just by estimating a value for assumed temp which gives me an N1 setting which kinda looks right. It's been working fine but I hate the missing realism in this. Is there any way to determine the correct value like the airline's dispatch centres do?

Enjoy, Michael Warren Probably, but runway data is from 2013 and TOPCAT uses navdata from Navigraph as well as including obstacle and engine out procedures in the calcs. I'm sure someone put a lot of effort into that worksheet, too bad they didn't evolve it into an application with full features. Dan Downs KCRP
