Final approach altitude call outs

Featured Replies

Recently purchased ProATC/X and to prevent P3D's default ATC also blabbing off in the background, the suggestion has been to turn Voice off or slide the volume all the way down in the Settings menu. Does this affect any of the "voice" callouts in the NGX? Last night I did not notice the callouts after having switched Voice off.

Simply uncheck the ATC options in the simulator settings. No need to alter the recommend sound settings.

I've never used the default ATC after the first 10 min a long long time ago and I've never had to alter the sound settings. That suggestion sounds like something you read on the internet:p

Check your options on the plane, using the FMC. Make sure calls are set as you want. I have mine off because I use

FS2Crew.

You also might want to look at the real altitude callouts by some airlines and set yours accordingly if you have any preferences. I feel they are annoying because I am always on top of altitude. I believe Alaska has 500, approaching minimums, fifty and that is it.
