November 8, 20169 yr Well thank goodness that's over! What I feared would happen, happened. I blew my engines up over dense jungle and came to earth in an undignified manner. Fortunately I encountered a lost tribe of natives who had not lost the ancient skills of repairing Pratt & Whitney engines. I was amazed at the speed with which they worked. Not only did they fix my plane, they hacked a runway through the jungle and also fitted a hyperdrive to the old gal so that I could catch up to my buddies* The lost tribe of natives that I "abruptly" ran into (crashed twice, same place - We're now on a first name basis! ) had the same outstanding skills Ron experienced including airframe repair. Because of the repair wait I was unable to get very many photos. Partial crew rallying up at our first stop - Eldorado Intl, Bogata (SKBO). (L --> R) Ron in "B.A.F.I.N CP-735", Myself in "North Central 'ol 728", Jeff in "El Venado HK-329", Mike in "ALLAS HK-3215" and finally Bry in his well worn "Pan American Peru OB-M-139" Here's the full clandestined crew @ SKBO - (fwd --> aft) Bry, Mike, Jeff & Ron, myself on taxiway Romeo, Nick coming off of Romeo, Bert (barely seen) coming on to Quebec and finally Gunter as "Tail End Charlie". There's Bert! He was assigned as a FAC / accident investigator for this "black" operation using a Quest Kodiak. Climbing out with Ron (L) & Nick ® from Puerto Nare / Aereopuerto Argos (SKPN) over the Magdalena River. Just about ready to pull back power before the dreaded - KABOOM. Shut down and fully unloaded. Quoting Sgt Schultz - Thanks Ron! Great flight! FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
November 8, 20169 yr Author So they were the paints in use. I would never have guessed! Kudos Roman, great pics as per usual. One small point, I had to up the speed of the video to 1.2 any clues as to why that would be? The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. November 8, 20169 yr No clue Ron.. The very first part (Nick's Landing) are a sequence of stills taken 1 sec apart, hence the jitter. As for the rest it plays/sounds good to me. Big ??? there. A FSX thing? LOL! Had to do it! FS RTWR SHRS F-111 JoinFS Little Navmap
November 8, 20169 yr Author Ahah! It was the first part that threw me. That made me fiddle and as a consequence, Jeff sounded a bit like he was on something. Stand down. The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA
