Not Bad For Default

Featured Replies

I'm still on the fence for either purchasing an upgrade to SMP v4 or XEnviro right now, so Last night, I thought I would see what I could do with the default weather in XP11 Beta3.  After a few tweaks, I came up with this.  I was able to maintain decent framerates and smoothness, during my flight around LOWI.  Everything here is default, from the aircraft to the scenery.  I'm loving the reflections and the overall atmosphere after the tweaks.

I think that XP11 weather is still heavily under developed and could offer huge improvements if only LR dedicated the proper time and resources. I caanot see a strategy there but there must be one... :fool:

Let's hold out hope that once we get out of beta, we'll have some great weather. :)

doubt it there are 2 main programmers for xp. unless Austin hires a guy just to develop the weather engine i doubt it will improve much. in the meantime im enjoying xenviro!
