January 2, 20179 yr Had a wry smile when I happened to look out at the wind turbines I was flying over in North Wales. The Ortho4XP scenery had baked in shadows and images of the turbine vanes. The picture speaks for itself. https://1drv.ms/f/s!AkmGUkjXtWpskmt16KIFpuccKtEK cheers Peter Peter Allen Chillblast custom built: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, Corsair Hydro H100i v2, Asus Maximus Hero IX Z270, 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz (4 X 8Gb), 250Gb Samsung 960 Evo SSD PCie, 2 x 1Tb Crucial SSD, 1 x 4Tb, Corsair 850W PSU. January 2, 20179 yr Moderator Sometimes the accuracy is surprising  . As is the case with orthos, if the time of day matches where are you flying, it can look very good. Talking about accuracy, you should see Poland ;-) (This has individual trees, the correct supermarkets, building heights and types, etc), . (Full Gallery here)
January 2, 20179 yr Author Peter, those are actually real-time shadows, not baked. Hi Michel, They are the baked in ones from the ortho - I don't have shadows switched on as it eats the frame rate. So the placing really is that accurate. cheers Peter alking about accuracy, you should see Poland ;-) (This has individual trees, the correct supermarkets, building heights and types, etc), Fabulous Tony - looks like another download coming up. cheers Peter Peter Allen Chillblast custom built: Intel Core i7-7700K 4.5Ghz, Nvidia GTX1080Ti, Corsair Hydro H100i v2, Asus Maximus Hero IX Z270, 32Gb DDR4 3000Mhz (4 X 8Gb), 250Gb Samsung 960 Evo SSD PCie, 2 x 1Tb Crucial SSD, 1 x 4Tb, Corsair 850W PSU. Tony, do you know the size of photoreal files for GB PRO? 9800X3D@H150i // Msi RTX 5090 Trio OC // 64GB DDR5 6000mhz CL30 // 2TB + 1TB Nvme Dell 27" 2127DGF - 1440p - Gsync - 165hz Thrustmaster TCA Sidestick Airbus // TCA Quadrant Airbus // TFRP T.Flight Rudder Pedals // Logitech Flight Multi Panel
January 2, 20179 yr Moderator There are no photoscenery files with GB Pro. If you download or generate the orthos separately at zl16 it will take up about 100GB of disk-space
