Had a wry smile when I happened to look out at the wind turbines I was flying over in North Wales. The Ortho4XP scenery had baked in shadows and images of the turbine vanes. The picture speaks for itself.  :wink:

Peter, those are actually real-time shadows, not baked.

Sometimes the accuracy is surprising :smile: . As is the case with orthos, if the time of day matches where are you flying, it can look very good.
 
Talking about accuracy, you should see Poland ;-) (This has individual trees, the correct supermarkets, building heights and types, etc), . (Full Gallery here)

Peter, those are actually real-time shadows, not baked.

 

Hi Michel,

 

They are the baked in ones from the ortho - I don't have shadows switched on as it eats the frame rate. So the placing really is that accurate.
