Stay away from STATIC and OUTSIDE views

Featured Replies

Had to reset my fight 3 times, aka about 1 wasted as my plane in static mode decided to jump about 1500ft and outside view decided to endlessly spin my camera. I would suppose the best solution is to disable experimental mode.

Let's not jump to conclusion too quickly and try to fix it instead...

1: what simulator are you using (+version)?

2: did it happen every time or at random?

3: was it following the use of the cinematic mode?

4: did the spinning occure after the use of thw static mode?

5: did it happen in the stable (non-experimental) version?

i saw this once when i was in cinematic view and pressed my hotkey to go back to the internal view. doesn't seem to reproduce easily though, i have done that combo many times without seeing it.

note that exiting fsx and restarting the flight was unnecessary, i simply closed the chaseplane window and ran it again and things returned to normal.

haven't really messed with static views yet, perhaps it is more common with those. using 1.553

cheers

there was an issue with the control inertia sliders where if it was set below 0.1 the camera would spin out of control but it has been fixed a few days ago already

Spinning happened once, but aircraft floating above scenery happened few times. Sim is P3D and yes I was using Experimental mode.

Also It did not happen all the time but rather at random.
