January 18, 20179 yr Author You should just be able to change the name of the aircraft's folder. That's what I thought but it doesn't seem to work for all aircraft. Open the aircraft using Plane-Maker, then go to "Standard"->"Author" menu, and change the "name for X-Plane UI" field. Then save the aircraft. Be advised that every time you update X-Plane, the updater will detect any changes you made to default aircrafts, and will ask you if you want to restore the original files or not.
