Static fuel flows

Featured Replies

Haven't had the chance to do a test flight yet, but doing some mucking around on the ground I noticed the fuel flow on the PW 400 model is stuck at 1.3 and the GE is 0.6. I haven't tested the RR yet. Anyone else seeing this?

Just have all 4 engines running by loading the "default" 744 panel state

Forgot to mention im using FSX Boxed. Also just did the first flight, the fuel flow indications return to normal when airborne, but after landing they go back to 1.3 for the PW

I don't have access to my sim at the moment, so you may want to submit a ticket so that we have some tracking on the issue.

Are you using any custom throttle bindings through FSUIPC?

Is this the case than one livery displays LBS and the other KGS ?

Hi I had this too on the RR BA 747-400, I loaded cold and dark and ran the long turn on ground service, after eng start and whilst taxing I had fun of 0.6, increasing eng thrust made no difference to ff.

Hi again,

FYI I just tried a takoff at EGLL and the FF stayed at 0.6 on each engine until passing approx 100 knots, then it jumped up to correct number.

Interesting. Passed it on to the team to look into. I'll have a look when I get home as well.

Thanks Kyle,

It's an awesome piece of software, very impressive and performs great, I can see it was a real labour of love. Keep up the good work.

Cheers

Hello again,

I did some flying again last night and found 747-400, and 747-400F both had fuel flow figures of 0.6 whilst on the ground (no matter what setting the Throttles were at), I kept the ENG page on the lower EICAS for takeoff and each time passing through about 100 knots the correct fuel flow displayed correctly, i.e went form 0.6 to 10.7. Let me know if you need me to try anything, but I can replicate it each time I fly.

Is anyone else seeing this?

Cheers

Neil,

Has already been passed along to the developer responsible for review.

We'll report back after that takes place.  Probably just something small.

Hi Robert,

Many thanks, yea it's not a big deal. Not affecting my enjoyment of this amazing aircraft. It's so good and very polished. I am really impressed with how far you guys have come. I wasn't that bothered about the 747 as I don't have the time for long haul, but of course I saw the previews and the teasers, so I couldn't resist. Worth every penny.

Now I just need to convince the wife to leave me at home on my own for a few days :)

Cheers

Neil
