CS C-130 Taxi Ready?

Featured Replies

Is it possible to configure the CS C-130 so it is ready to taxi, or do you have to go thru the start-up routine everytime? When mine starts all engines are running, but right away they shut down. Did a search on this but did not find a reason for the already running engines to shut down. Thanks for the help!Joe

It does the same for me. I am not sure if it can be changed since I like to start with engines off. Sorry I cant help with a solution but I wanted you to know it isnt just happening to you.

Thanks Andrew,Good to know it is not "just me". Sometimes you wonder!Joe

Believe you need to load the default C172 and make sure the avionics switch is on, then load the c-130.My install has always had the engines running and ready to taxi when I load it.Jim

Hi Jim,Done all that. Every other add-on I have will start out ready to go. This is the only one that "shuts down" after I load it.Joe

Hi Joe,Maybe this is the solution:Take the flight that's provided by CS (saved in My Flights) : "Legendary C130 Pope AFB (Hot Cockpit)". Move the plane to your favorite airport and park area via "World" and "Go to Airport", save. Your C130 is ready to taxi...Regards,Hugo

Hi Hugo,That seemed to do the trick! Thanks!Joe

Folks,After some experimentation, I think I found it.I've been doing alot of AFCAD work and have saved flights where I wanted the aircraft at a certain point and with SLEW on. I saved this flight as the Default flight. Everytime I start up FS9, There is my choice to start a flight.Try this.Create a situation in which you want your aircraft in a certain setup, in a certain location. Save that flight and save that as the default flight. Exit out of FS9. (key point)The next time you launch, your aircraft should be in the state you left it (engines running, lights on, etc...) It should be in the same state too (sorry, geographical joke). For some reason, I have found that this default flight checkbox has something to do with this problem.Hope This Helps!
