December 24, 200520 yr I've been trying for a week to check the site for the update that is in the works. I thought last week it was down while they worked on the site. I kow from experiance that it doesn't take this long.Anyone?JimC. December 24, 200520 yr sites up here, hasnt been down for me at all actually, but theres no update at this point..probably not for some time yet. The devs have been saying for about a year now that the upgrade would be ready any day now, and theyre still saying it LOL...they disapeared off the face of the earth at one point for many months with no support for their paying customers which i must say didnt impress me much...came back about 2 or 3 months ago saying the upgrade will be very soon, they they hoped for xmas, now they say no date yet. The they post a message saying the upgrade wont work in fs9?...very strange goings on over there.Guess ive learned not to listen to them over there :-)Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
December 24, 200520 yr Moderator >Guess ive learned not to listen to them over there :-)Considering the fact that they are all active duty military, and have been on deployment overseas, I think the "silence" is pretty understandable...:-roll Fr. December 24, 200520 yr not that it matters to me personally because i dont even own the product, but i dont think "silence" without any warning or explanation for months at a time is acceptable for any business. If they had posted a sticky on their forum warning customers theyd be away for an extended period of time, thats one thing. But they sort of just left everyone over without saying much...YET, they still kept the sales page up allowing new sales and money to keep comming in.Sort of unprofessional and irresponsible in my book.But...to each his own i supposeDave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
December 24, 200520 yr So, they are not in the FS addon business. Nor are they in the pandering to a few users because they haven't posted anything on their forum business either, for that matter. Their sim was designed as a training aid and they in turn made public. AND they are busy with REAL WORLD STUFF. Nuff said I think.Dave
December 24, 200520 yr Author Thanks for the input, if others can access thier site I guess I have trouble on my end, strange. Please don't think that I am disregarding their service to our Country. Those men and women have my utmost respect and thanks.Merry Christmas to all,JimC. December 24, 200520 yr I'm actually having the same problem, Jim. Just curious, who is your internet provider?Dave
December 24, 200520 yr I cannot access it and have tried for days. I posted here with concerns before I purchased it about a month or so ago. I was concerned about the lack of activity on the forums, the age of the plane and wondering if the project was dead. The post was immediately answered by other owners and from someone involved with the t-34 project. All praised it as being incredible and the t-34 rep said a major overhaul update was imminent. So I bought it.It is a nice plane but I am really looking forward to seeing this MAJOR update.I have only been waiting for a few months but some have been expecting an update for over a year. But like the much promised Cloud Nine f-104 update that you cannot even discuss on their forums, Ive learned not to hold my breath. The Tweet has joined the f-104 in the hanger and it looks like the tires will be dry rotted before I fly them again.
December 24, 200520 yr I had the website bookmarked since I was considering buying the T-37, but the past week or so whenever I tried to access the site, my virus software goes bonkers telling me that it's stopping a worm so I've stopped going there.Jim
December 24, 200520 yr Hi,I have been in contact with one of the developers of the T37 on and off for several months. We are both quite busy so we do not "IM" that often. I have the latest beta build of the new improved T37. I am very impressed with it. I assure you it will be worth the wait. I think issues with night lighting are preventing release at this point.I do not speak officially for the developers. I am just telling you what I know from speaking with one of them. They are working feverishly to get the new improved T37 out of the hanger. Unfortunately, their "day job" commitments limit the time they can spend on the project. I also noticed that the Tweet website is down. The next time I speak with Jamal. I will ask what is going on and relay the info to anybody who is interested.FYI. With the latest build the VC is very detailed. A lot of the switches are now animated and functional. You can turn your IP (Instructor Pilot) on and off to save on FPS if you want. You still have to change the weight from the weight and balance section though. You can now start the Tweet from the VC. I use Track IR. It is really cool to start the aircraft and follow the checklist without switching between panels anymore. The external model is much more refined. If you have any questions, I will attempt to answer them. But I have to warn you. I do not know much more than what I have already written.Take care and Merry Christmas!Nick

December 25, 200520 yr Thanks. I also have the same thing happening with my Antivirus. It blocks a worm virus and then just brings up blank browser page.Edit - I just noticed it only happens with IE. I'm able to get to the site with NetscapeDave
December 27, 200520 yr Author Life us strange isn't it? Just saw this post again, and clicked my favorite for the t37 site and it opened right up.A little activity on the site, several that refer to site being down. Still no update yet, but that means still something left to anticipate.JimC. December 27, 200520 yr Hi,It looks like the site has been updated now. You can download a PDF of the manual and there are several new screen shots. The new improved T37 will be worth the wait. It is very impressive.Nick
