Strange planes on ground with new Prepar3d install.

Featured Replies

Bump, wrong forum, but no delete button to be found.  Sorry.

Hi,

I`ve just bought Prepard3d and am expierincing something strange regarding surrounding planes when i`m at a gate on eham.

The planes around me seem to be there but are not in 3d, but like painted on the ground. When I change view to top down they seem to be 3d again.

Untill now I`ve only bought schiphol from Flytampa as a scenery.

Does anybody recognise this behavior and perhaps know a solution ?

I don't know the answer to your question, but you may get more responses in the P3D forum. This is the X-Plane forum.

Ahh this pops up often. Easy solution.

Step 1 - Deinstall P3D

Step 2 - Install X-Plane 11

Fixed!

Currently giving X-Plane 12.10 a spin on Shadow PC. 10 years with X-Plane now, since 10.20

That's photoscenery that the developer put under the airport. Nothing you can do.

Don't think he can fly that aircraft in X-plane 11.

You have to set a high resolution mesh (set to the right) on your P3D settings.

Looks like the ground textures didn't get loaded properly. Might have to reinstall that airport once again. Best to follow netshadoe or MauB advise.

Looking at screenshots of that airport looks to be pretty good.
