December 29, 200520 yr I've downloaded and installed some FFX 737s--the -200, -300, and -400--and I'd like to find some good panels to go with them. I know Richard Probst's panel for the -200 is the best one I've seen, but is there a copy floating around anywhere since he took his tinmouse.org site down? And, anybody have any recommendations for a good -300 or -400 panel and soundset (plus a JT8D soundset for the -200), so I don't have to look and listen to that default FS 734 anymore?(And yeah, I know, the Wilco -300 is out there...maybe after a patch I might spring for it, but right now I'd like to stick with freeware if possible. Thanks!)Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia Lewis "Moose" Gregory Durham, North Carolina
December 29, 200520 yr Lewis,I've been using the Ken Mitchell 737-200 panel for 2004. filename 732km_pa.zip I have also used the 737-200 panel by Fabrizio Berretta. also freeware here on AVSIM. December 29, 200520 yr I believe the RP panel has been uploaded at flightsim.com. There are a number of good JT8 soundsets in the various libraries.DJ
December 29, 200520 yr Thanks for that! I've put in the PS panel for the -300 and -400, looks good and works good--and sounds good thanks to a recently-uploaded soundset from the library here. I can't find Ken Mitchell's -200 panel on AVSIM (searching on the zip file name turns up nothing, and searching on "Ken Mitchell 737-200" turns up nothing), but I'll try flightsim.com and see if I can dig Richard's or Ken's panel up over there. Thanks again!Lewis "Moose" GregoryRichmond, Virginia Lewis "Moose" Gregory Durham, North Carolina
December 29, 200520 yr Ken Mitchell's panel is on FlightSim.com - 732km_pa.zipRichard Probst's panel is on FlightSim.com - panel732.zip This also might be useful - 73autofl.zip - "FS2002/FS2004 737-200 Panel Docs, for use with PANEL732.ZIP. This is one of the documents written for Richard Probst's B737-200 project. It covers how to use the autoflight features of the B737-200 modeled. PDF format. Written by David Vega, reviewed by Richard Probst."

January 2, 200620 yr Hi,I have the following sound problem with Richards Panel:Richard P. included panel sounds for the 732 but it seems that you can hear just the panel sounds or the engine sounds, but not both together. Has someone the same problem? Pilots, hearing the panel sounds and the engine sounds: would you please post the Panel.cfg and the Aircraft.cfg in this thread.Thank you.J
January 28, 200620 yr I've got problems when attempting to use the Richard Probst panel on FS2002. I've placed the panel in the fs2002aircraftfsfsconvpanel.b732 directory and placed the gauge file in the gauges directory. When I attempt to use the aircraft (an FFX 737-200), after selection and hitting "Fly Now!" I get a fatal error , with no details other than that it was in the FS2002.exeI've ensured that the panel.cfg of the aircraft aliases to the correct directory for the panel. I've moved the panel to the aircraft's panel directory, I've changed the gps entry in the panel.cfg to reflect the stock FS2002 gps. I've commented out the [Adv_Display] section of the panel.cfg. Nothing changes. When I removed the B732.gau from the gauges directory, the aircraft came up ok with the panel, except no gauges are shown (obviously). Seems to me that there is an error with the gauge file when trying to use the panel w/ FS2002.Any ideas?
