Bit of a problem...Hard drive crashed..

Hello! :)

I recently just got P3D v3.x and was loving it and even got my Ezdok and Aerosoft installed and had done my first successful flight for BAV on it until......

My SSD decided to bomb out which was running my Windows 10 installation. I replaced it with a new Samsung 850.

My P3D was installed on my "D" drive which is fine, the installation files are all still there. What do I do now? I just want to "reinstall" P3D onto my new Windows installation.

Any ideas please?

Kind regards,

Marc

Hello Marc,

As you have now changed your Operating system drive you have lost your previous register entries with your Prepar3D Licence.   Just run the Prepar3D v3 installer again,  if you run into Activation Issues please see below

If you need an additional activation, Please e-mail [email protected] with a very brief explanation of the reason you need your license reactivated, along with your license ID and invoice number, and we will be happy to get you squared away in under two business days

What Elaine said.

And...when you get things running again, you might consider making an image backup of your OS drive to prevent that kind of thing in the future.  Especially with Win 10, which likes to automatically install drivers that may bork your FS installation.
