Considering what has been said over the past few days on "another forum in another place" -- I'm sure you probably even know exactly which thread I'm referring to in particular there; if not, you should probably contact me out of band -- I think AVSIM has been remarkably restrained. Personally, we are fed up with the bickering too and have better things to do with our time -- which is why there has been such significant restraint on our part in order to not further escalate the situation.As I have communicated to several people already in the last few days, AVSIM's forums remain open for anyone to use, regardless of which (if any) site they may call "home", just so long as they follow the Terms and Conditions. Simple as that. We won't tolerate slamming of other websites, period.Best wishes and a very happy new year to you!Matt

My point is that there are ways to put ones point across and ways not to.Peter Sidoli is a long time much respected member of this forum and i'll wager has much more to contribute both in simming and real world aviation terms to this place than most members.It is unfortunate that you have appeared to have taken such a beligerrent stand against Peter in particular and may others in general. From an outsiders perspective, I believe that while I supported your initial stance in defence of the magazine, you have done your cause no favours by your apparent agression against some who wish you no ill whatsoever.We are all here to further our passion in this great hobby. Let us all try to get along and move forward. We all have an interesting time ahead with the imminent release of information pertaining to the next iteration of MSFS. I get personally insulted and its my fault? All I stated was that everyone was guessing, nobody had official information, and I choose to believe a magazine article who claimed they did rather than people on a forum who just guesseing with the only reason because "they" never heard anything? I appologized but people continue to say "I told ya so" as if they knew all along straight from the horses mouth that it was not possible. In my first responses I said that they probably got the release date wrong but does anybody dwell on that? No, they dwell on my rseponses to those who said something and excepted me to take it as from the mouth of God. If you are going to warn me for this nonsense then go right ahead and do whatever you erally want to do and dont waste my time. Thanks
