Would you mind posting/PM some of your P3D settings? I have a similar setup (3570k @ 4.6ghz, 16GB Ram, GTX980ti) and I can't get nearly the same sharpness/lack of blurries as you have there!

I can do that, later today.

So, here you go! These are my settings in P3D 3.3.5.17625.

I don´t use any AI traffic, I do also not use the nVidia inspector, I have set the settings in my nVidia driver to standard values (application controlled), except the power managment is set to "adaptive". My P3D.cfg is completely untweaked, and the scenery you see in these shots above is;

ORBX FTX Global, FTX Vector, Open LC EU, Trees HD, AS16 & ASCA, and a custom PTA preset.

Thank you! I'll have a play around with some of the settings later.

The photos are beautiful ... but ... forgive my frankness Mik75 ... the environment is very unrealistic.
There is no light... there is no color... the environment is too dark... too gray. :sad:
In nature, the sky and the Sun light is intense, contrast and color are "alive."
With this setting P3D is very far from reality.

With this setting ↓↓↓ (I used photoshop) P3D become more realistic.

Remind friends: in nature clear sky is blue, not gray.

Why P3D simmers fly with gray skies, dark simulator, and low Sun light? :unsure:

With respect. :wink: :wink:

While I personally prefer the lighting system of XP, you have to remember, that the monitor in use, and how it's set up, has a huge effect on the result the simmer sees while flying.

On my monitor, I have very vibrant colours and natural looking skies in P3D. And, the weather during this flight hasn't been too good as well, with much haze and light rain at EGPF.

If you have a look at this series of screenshots, taken on a flight I did a week ago, you can see, that with clear weather (during cruise), ASCA and AS16 draw beautiful blue skies, and P3D creates some very immersive lighting:
