I personally am not a fan of deleting anything. If I really need the room, what I have done in the past is to change the name of the directory, like ProgramData\obsolete package cache......................... Then I wait a couple of months to watch for any train wrecks. If none, then I delete. USB drives are so cheap today, if in doubt place it on a USB drive, then you can always reload it if need be.

Jcomm, I think those are just backup MS installers in case you need to "repair" your installation. I might be wrong on that. I'm not sure if they are needed for uninstalling. Could be wrong on that as well. Daniel Moser
March 7, 20179 yr Author Thx guys, they're there probably only as a way to repair most surely. Just backed it up to na external disk, and erased from C: with no problem.
