April 10, 20179 yr Hi, Had some spare time today and desided to take the plunge updating W10 and P3DV3 from 3.4.9 to 3.4.22 Here are some small first observations in 4K, SLI (2 x GTX970,) , I7-4770K@4,7 HT off, today 12.00 local time no weather engines Windows 10 64 bit latest build before 11.4.17 4K Test 1 SLI 373.06 - 3.4.9 FT EKCH A 20 - NGX - 45- 46 FPS VC VAS remain 1176272 Test 2 SLI 373.06 - 3.4.22 FT EKCH A 20 - NGX - 45-46FPS VC 62/49% VAS remain 1164632 Test 3 SLI 381.65 - 3.4.22 FT EKCH A 20 - NGX - 47- 48 FPS VC 67/46% VAS remain 1226020 Windows 10 Creators update (without Game mode activated) Test 1 SLI 381.65 - 3.4.22 FT EKCH A 20 - NGX - 48- 49 FPS VC (Best performance interms of FPS so far) 65%/45% VAS remain 1162424 Windows 10 Creators update (WITH Game mode activated) Test 2 SLI 381.65 - 3.4.22 EKCH A 20 - NGX - 43-44 FPS VC 55%/45% VAS remain 1214864 So far activating SLI and this new "game mode" is a no go on my system Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
April 10, 20179 yr This seems in line with other preliminary reviews that have been posted online. Neither game mode nor the new 381.xx drivers have any impact on P3d. And game mode not recommended for XP11, so I'm going to wait until more reviews show up.

This presently rules out the use of the GTN 750 gauges in both XP11 and P3d. I am assuming from reading this thread about the GTN that ATC, AI Traffic and weather injector addons that run as a separate executable file will also suffer the same fate. Someone may want to experiment with combining game mode and affinity mask to see if that helps.
April 11, 20179 yr Tested and well removed the creators update FPS was worse (-10 fps) :( (system I7 -6700K with GTX 1070 and 16 gb ram) Staggering amount of services running in the background from before the update around 50 to after the update 120 That wasn't working out also fine with the FSLABS bus... André
April 11, 20179 yr Something may be wrong with your setup Awf - better resource usage on my systems (including an older HTPC and Surface).
