April 12, 20179 yr I have never been able to get G Plan to connect to X-Plane 11, I had G Plan download data from X-Plane 10 and that works OK. How do you direct G Plan to where X-Plane 11 is? I've tried everything I can think of but still cannot get it to connect. Donald E. Donovan Flying is the 2nd greatest thrill known to man The 1st is landing.
April 12, 20179 yr Donald, Are you referring to this program? http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/ If so, I found this on their forum: ************** go here : http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=3578.msg17454#msg17454 and look at post #26. It has the link for the .exe that will work with XP-11. Tim is working on Plan-G to get it compatible with XP11, maybe he will give us an update on his progress.... That .exe will allow you to build your data base from XP-11, but as he says, missing some items. I use it with 11, it works. **************** Post was from March 22nd, so something is in the works. April 12, 20179 yr If this is what you are referring to, I just figured out how to do this yesterday ... and it works. Please confirm that you are talking about Plan-G, and I will provide more details.
April 12, 20179 yr Author Thanks Jim I will try that again. I have tried that in the past but it seems to lose a lot of info. Yes PDX, I am referring to Plan-G, pardon me for inverting the name. I heard that several people were able to connect, using X-Plane 10 data base, but I could never point Plan-G to where X-Plane 11 was in order for it to connect. Appreciate any input. Donald E.
