Unlikely. the DTG plattform is only one of several plattforms that you can develop for. It has its benefits if you specialize on one of these plattforms. While OrbX tries it, they are also trying to hold these plattforms together, otherwise it would make their multi plattform approach to expensive. Karsten Schubert

They want to provide an updated platform to allow the 3rd party people to build on a platform capable of using todays modern computers. Lets hope they do. But it took 10 years to get to where we are today with FSX. How long would you give FSW? Remember also that FSX had no real opposition (other than FS2004) when it started out whereas FSW has established, successful sims like FSX, P3D and X-Plane to compete with. It will need to be good - I don't think just having potential will be enough for most people. i7-14700k | Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI | 32GB DDR5 RAM | MSI RTX 4080 Super | WD Black SN850X 1TB & 2TB | Corsair HX1000i ATX3.0 | MSI MAG401QR 40" monitor | Win 11 Pro 64-bit | Meta Quest 3
May 10, 20179 yr One thing FSW has going for it is a potential customer base of over 1 million, if you go into any game shop or supermarket in the UK you will see stacks of game console games no pc games, but for steam the pc as a game platform would have died by now, I`m not promoting steam by the way but they have given the pc gaming a boost, and most modern games are designed for the game console and then ported to the pc, designing games for a set in stone headwear platform I suspect is easier.
