May 10, 20179 yr Can someone tell me what the A/I option in the AuraSim app does? It contains four values; Auto, On, Off, and Exit. Thanks, Ernie
May 10, 20179 yr Commercial Member Hello Ernie! Hmm, I'm not familiar with that, and just checked and don't see it in the settings or the App itself. Where is it exactly? Many thanks. Once you are on the Takeoff - Performance page it is on the right side just below the Flap option. I don't think that it's necessary, but you may need to specify an airport using Apt Search first. May 10, 20179 yr It's anti ice. An icing on takeoff or landing is pretty complex in the Q400 and is detailed in the First Officer Training Program. Off the top of my head it shouldn't make a huge difference. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com

May 8, 20197 yr Commercial Member Hello! What is REDU? How is fuel calculated for the entire flight?) In jurisprudence, there is a principle - you look for the person who benefits.

Off the top of my head, it's an option to reduce the runway length by a given amount. Fuel is calculated with a briefing site like www.simbrief.com or PFPX. Our Cadet Training Series for the Q400 shows all this. | Ben Weston www.airline2sim.com
