May 12, 20179 yr If memory serves, there was a feature that existed, whereby an OP could choose the best answer (or most helpful) to a question they had posed in a thread they created. I personally find that feature very helpful if you pose a question about something, and find it with a response from another member, where you can mark the thread with the best answer, featured at the top of the post thread. Problem is, you tend to get an influx of others who tend to either offer alternative answers, or duplicate what was already stated. Another downside is that a thread will stay open beyond it's "expiration date", and it usually requires the OP to request the thread be closed. I'm not sure if the admins and mods know what I'm talking about, but I have seen it before in other forums but I could swear that AVSIM once had this as well. It sure would help cut down on posts going off the rails too.
