May 26, 20179 yr Hi I've received feedback from Pilot's that there's no plan to update compatibility of FS GLobal 2010 for V4 and that there will be FS Global 2018 with 2017 data released. My question would be, before I'll be able to afford Ultimate Next Gen package which I'm collecting money for anyway, would it be possible to simply add FSGlobal 2010 to scenery file in P3Dv4? Ultimately, I did not see any ammendments in area of mesh announced, so anything that worked with v3 would work with v4, after it's manually added. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks! It is not an affirmative response, as I think you misinterpret. Your question has not been answered as of this post...:(

They just want to rip off your money. FS Global 2010 works perfectly fine with P3D v4. It dont even need a update, just add it manually to your scenery.cfg: FS Global 2010 is easy to add just write this to your P3D4 scenery.cfg under C:\ProgramData\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v4, done... You have to add the layer under "1107 Base" Thats because I copied it. Of course if you have installed FSGX2010 to another location you have to change it behind Local= If the area + layer number does not fit. Just add them at the end of your scenery.cfg with higher Area.1xx and Layer numbers. Open v4 start a flight go to scenery and make all FS Global 2010 higher priority than 1107 Base: http://imgur.com/a/GhdsK [Area.099] Title=1107 Base Local=Scenery\1107 Layer=99 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.100] Title=FS Global 2010 - Oceania Local=C:\FSGX2010\oce Layer=100 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.101] Title=FS Global 2010 - Europe Local=C:\FSGX2010\eur Layer=101 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.102] Title=FS Global 2010 - Asia Local=C:\FSGX2010\asi Layer=102 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.103] Title=FS Global 2010 - South America Local=C:\FSGX2010\csa Layer=103 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.104] Title=FS Global 2010 - Africa Local=C:\FSGX2010\afr Layer=104 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.105] Title=FS Global 2010 - Antarctica Local=C:\FSGX2010\ant Layer=105 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.106] Title=FS Global 2010 - North America Local=C:\FSGX2010\nam Layer=106 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE [Area.107] Title=FS Global 2010 - Local Meshes Local=C:\FSGX2010\LocalMeshes Layer=107 Active=TRUE Required=FALSE
