June 13, 20178 yr Well I switched over to P3D v4 from FSX and I got a CTD coming into CYYZ. ai_player.dll was the culprit. Anyone else have this issue as well in V4? PMDG 777, Orbx scenery, MT 6. I hope it was just a one off, and yes I have read the AVSIM crash guide. Thanks Darcy
June 13, 20178 yr Have a read here. It could be a BGL. June 13, 20178 yr Author Yeah that's dated and for the 3.4. Never had this in fsx so just wondering if happened to anyone else in v4. Thanks
June 13, 20178 yr I had the ai_player.dll crash in FSX years ago. You have an AFCAD file for an airport somewhere that isn't playing ball. Turn traffic off and you won't get the crash, until you've managed to narrow down which airport is causing it. That said it's unusual for it to cause a complete CTD. I only ever had 'soft crashes' caused by that dll - the sim would still run but it would register an error in event viewer.
