Fsuipc vas display p3d v4

Recommended Posts

Hello

I've just upgraded to p3d v4.  So far so good.

I used to follow the procedure in this video that shows the vas.

Is there a way to do the same thing in V4 as when using the same procedure it shows remaining vas as 0.

Many thanks

There's not really any point to monitoring VAS remaining, given that your limit these days is practically the amount of RAM you have installed in your system.

There are various process monitoring apps (including the built in task manager) that will show you how much memory in Virtual/Physical senses that p3d is using at any given moment.

The limit is much larger than that thanks to memory paging.  Agree though, VAS has no meaning in a 64b world unless your application needs more than 2TB.

Forget about VAS in V4.  More worry about hardware
