Has Navigraph Charts switch over to Jeppesen Charts yet?

Recommended Posts

I plan on getting a charts subscription with Navigraph. The last time I remember they were using LIDO charts from Lufthansa group but I heard they are gonna switch to Jeppesen now and I'm curious if that has happened yet? I prefer Jeppesen charts as its much more coverage and complete.

Anyone here a Navigraph Charts member? Could you tell me if you pay the $62/year subscription fee, will you be able to download the complete collection of charts to your tablet, computer using the Navigraph Charts apps? After my subscription is over, I don't think I will renew it. So I want to be able to have access to all my charts from my previous subscription. Would htat be possible?

Hi Aaron

I also prefer the LIDO charts and have a subscription to Navigrpah.  Not sure when or how this transition is going to be taking place.  But so far, the charts still appear to be LIDO based

Right now, you have access to both of them. The LIDO charts are used for the stable version (as before). The Jeppesen Charts (and the new user interface that come with them) are in an open BETA right now.

But I doubt you can download and save them. Otherwise everyone would just pay for one month and download them all.

Personally I'd like an option to choose which charts are displayed. I mainly simultate operations of carriers that use the LIDO charts in real life. So a switch to Jeppesen would be a step back for me.

You can download them individually and they are saved in a db that is read by the program. You could print them individually to a pdf and save them that way BUT that would take forever. So while it's possible to save them it's really improbable to take that much time and effort.
