  1. It's not been attacked, their SSL certificate has expired and needs renewing.
  2. Yes, RUN now also has SODE jetways (see the download here for both FMEE and FIMP)
  3. FSDG makes some good stuff. I now have their FIMP, FSIA, FMEE, LGIR, HESH and YAYE airports and I love them all. I just completed a FMEE - FIMP - FMEE rotation with an Air Austral 77W (UU108 and UU109 were operated IRL with a 77W on the 20th of this month). I'm finding the dynamic lighting hits FPS really hard on this as it did with me at FMEE so I turned off the 3D apron lights in the included FSDG Configurator and still getting pretty bad FPS at the terminal even with 4xMSAA. Runway ops are fine at night though (or at least it was for me). In order to use the SODE jetways you have to download another file from FSDG and then copy the files into the SODE SimObjects directory located at C:\ProgramData\12bPilot\SODE. My only other gripe is that the apron textures are perhaps a bit too clean or too bright. Other than that it's top notch although I've only done IFR flights into and out of FIMP (the entire island is covered by the scenery, including resorts and other POI). Here are some snaps I took while checking it out (one parked at night at the terminal and one on short final ILS 14 of my inbound flight UU108 from RUN)
  4. Do you get a crash when clicking OK on the scenario load screen (before any progress bar comes up)? If so, you could be having this issue: http://www.prepar3d.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6312&t=126017 LM are aware of it and hopefully working on a fix.
  5. They've created v4 compatible installers for most of their scenery AFAIK and definitely for FMEE.
  6. FYI I reverted back to stable branch and the problem is gone :) (0.3.29)
  7. Just installed the latest CP beta 0.3.31 and my POV hat and arrow movements are ridiculously slow now in the PMDG 777-F. I didn't modify any settings from previous build... I tried playing with the global speed settings which had a negligible effect. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?
  8. IIRC SimLink is executed after the install of Charts Desktop beta (using Jeppesen charts) and will show as a separate entry in Programs and Features (at least it did for me) so it's likely that it remained when Desktop Charts was removed. I have the Charts Desktop Beta still installed (and working wonderfully I might add) and just removed SimLink from Add/Remove / Programs and Features. Correct. No stutters on short rotations but after leaving the sim running for a few hours the stutters start and it appears almost like a "rhythmic pulse" where the sim would briefly pause every second or so.
  9. I did a return run from the flight that caused the stutters last time. This time around I removed SimLink prior to firing up the sim. Had the aircraft sit on the tarmac at Fort-de-France (FDF) for about 2 1/2 hours prior to departure, planned my flight, programmed everything, took off and went to bed. I woke up this morning at cruise about an hour prior to ToD for Paris Orly (ORY) and guess what? No stutters! I will do further tests to confirm but so far it looks like it was indeed SimLink causing the issue for me.
  10. Good find! I am indeed using SimLink with the new Desktop Charts beta. Will uninstall and try another long haul to see if I can reproduce.
  11. I don't think it's a 77W issue but rather a ChasePlane one. Are you on the experimental branch? I am having the same issue with the 77L and the TFDi 717 using the latest build (v0.3.20 beta exp). The black flickering when switching presets is also back. Posted in the FSFXP forums.
