Well I screwed up. I couldn't get the FSX uninstall to work. After trying the Microsoft uninstall tool, I ended up screwing my fsx up, putting it in a middle ground, where it is installed, but parts of it are not. So I manually deleted the files. I could have avoided all this stupidity if I only uninstalled FSX using the disks. I can no longer install fsx, or uninstall it from the registry. What do I do now?

I would try a system restore with one of your saved restore points.
