July 19, 20178 yr It detects the drivers already in place and uses those for your installed card, in other words your good to use your own drivers, I'm using the latest nvidia drivers for my GTX1060 and windows 10 (creators) isn't changing them to want it thinks is best.
July 20, 20178 yr With Windows 10 you can opt to receive just security updates (which you want) and not driver updates. This applies to all drivers, not just those for the graphics card. i7-14700k | Asus ROG STRIX Z790-F Gaming WIFI | 32GB DDR5 RAM | MSI RTX 4080 Super | WD Black SN850X 1TB & 2TB | Corsair HX1000i ATX3.0 | MSI MAG401QR 40" monitor | Win 11 Pro 64-bit | Meta Quest 3
