V4 ATC. No text or sound

Recommended Posts

Hi

Another frustrating issue has cropped up.

I no longer have any sound or text in the atc window in any aircraft.

The pilot voices box is empty. I haven't touched or done anything since I played 2 days ago. Bizarre.

An Ideas please?

Hi.

I fixed it no worries. I was about to reinstall as well. Phew.

If others who have this issue are searching the forum and find your post, then see you fixed it, they will be really disappointed you didn't say how.  Just sayin'

ALWAYS tell the community what the fix was. It's extremely frustrating to read posts that say "Fixed it!" and then disappear...

JMHO, of course.

Whoops.

My P3dv4/sound/ATC folder voice files (USEnglishBig.gvp and USEnglishBig.gvp_backup) somehow got deleted. I simply installed V4 on my laptop and  copied the files over from that install and all is well.
