Just a quick question: Why can't PMDG have the latest AIRAC data in their updates? Just wondering.

Because PMDG doesn't create the navigation data, and they provide a one time set of data simply to get you started.  I would bet that the single set of data you get is provided to PMDG by the data service, so for PMDG to start keeping the navdata up to date would increase the complexity of publishing updates, add cost, and do something that doesn't add value to the product.  Zach, do you subscribe to a navdata service?

That makes sense, and I'm not subscribed to any navdata

If that is a budget decision, there is an option to buy a single cycle from Navigraph that is very inexpensive.
