ok so I bought the v4 737 ngx fs2crew my co-pilot seems not to put the lights on for taxi as he did in previous versions is this normal or have i broke something

Which SOP you are using? I think this is the case with SOP2. You have to turn on/off taxi lights yourself. FO controls taxi lights in SOP1.

Here is the piece from the manual.

TAXI:
 Look out the left window and speak “CLEAR LEFT / CLEAR ON THE LEFT” after receiving your taxi clearance.
 Turn on the Taxi and Runway Turnoff lights as desired.
 Taxi to runway.

 

I was trying to find the manual but cant seem to find it ill try change sop guessing that can me done via the cfg in the app

never mind I don't think there is a SOP 1 for button control

Button Control is SOP 2 only.
