General questions about P3D before I switch from FSX-SE

Recommended Posts

Hi @simbol - It might just be a problem at my end, to be honest  :)    We'll wait and see if anyone else comments on whether they can see them.

Simbol, glad it's working out for you.  Just took the plunge myself yesterday, transitioning from FSX to P3Dv4.  I still have a ways to go in terms of transferring my add-ons, but certainly can see the differences already just using default.

Simbol,

What reshade settings/preset  are you using  ?

Thanks

Hi MindYerBeak,

I designed my own preset and settings using the available filters and shades provided by Reshade 3.01, this was done previously for FSX-SE so I just transferred these to P3DV4.

For P3DV4 I am using Reshade 3.08, I am planning to revisit my current preset and settings later next month to see if I can improve things further since now Reshade has new filters, shades and algorithms available, my current presets have a very low FPS impact (0.3 - 0.6) FPS on my system, if you send me a PM with you private email address I can sent you later tonight my current configuration and effects settings so you can install them very quickly on your system and adapt them to your likes.

Kind Regards,
Simbol
