March 5, 200620 yr I already own the Carenado C210M and have for a while. I'm thinking about buying the U206G, but they are both very similar and coming from the same developer may be too similar. I know one is an RG and the other fixed gear, so can anyone who has both compare them? Is the new U206G worth dropping another $20?
March 6, 200620 yr I have both and enjoy them both for different reasons. The U206 is more of a truck and well suited to bush flying and flying in more general methods. The 210M is more of a high flying distance bird in my view. I have mine loaded up with Reality XP gauges etc. The 206 I just use as a heavy duty flying truck...but a nice one!Eric AND
March 6, 200620 yr Hello, the answer is yes, yes, and yes. The new 206 is amazing. The newest development technics are used here as well if you like eye candy. The 210 is nice but outdated as far as design goes. I think it is worth every dollar. I own both as well, but I guessed you figured that one out. I hope this helped. I'm sure other users will agree with me. Shouldn't be long before there are others that join in here.
March 6, 200620 yr YES, the 206 is worth every penny! The 210 is an older model and has gauge refresh issues for some, so go with the newer bird.Regards, MichaelKDFWhttp://www.calvirair.com/mcpics/mcdcvabanner.jpgCalVirAir International Best, Michael KDFW
March 6, 200620 yr Gauge refresh is one reason why I updated the gauges with RXP Flightline T gauges and also modified the avionics stack with replacements too. Still a good airplane. I have a whole raft of Cessnas..RealAir Modified Default 172F1 C172RCarenado C182Carenado C206 (with floats and without)Carenado C210DF Cessna 310F1 Cessna 421F1 Cessna 441I find that I fly the C172R, C206 and C210 the most when not cruising in my Milton Shupe Spartan or Beech 18 or DF Bonanzas! All of em use RXP gauges.Eric AND
March 6, 200620 yr Author Thanks for the nudge guys. I learned to fly in Cessnas and have a soft spot, so I guess Carenado will be getting another $20. :-)
