September 16, 20178 yr Hello guys, My PMDG Operation Center download the update, seems to update the software but i'm always with the previous version in the FSX simulator. And when i re open the PMDG Op Center, it tells me one more time that there are updates available for the 737. Is it possible to re install the update version over the previous one from my PMDG account by downloading the whole zip file of the whole installer instead of updating it from the Operation Center ? Thanks Gilles Menghetti
September 16, 20178 yr The micro update for the NGX is probably not in the installer that would be downloaded from PMDG. Help others understand your problem, "seems to update the software... previous version in the FSX simulator." Based on what? Where are you seeing the previous version information FSX? What do you mean by "seems to update?" It is normal for the OC to provide a message that liveries must be repaired after the update. However, if it says there is an update available then perhaps what seemed to be isn't true. You can help by looking at the updater log for any sign of what might have happened. Thanks Gilles Menghetti Looking at the updater log in your last post, it appears to be saying that your current version is too old to be updated with the micro updater, so yes, you would need to download the full version from your PMDG account. First uninstall your current version from the Windows control panel, install the full version from PMDG, and then you will be able to use the micro updater to bring it up to the very latest version. Gilles Menghetti It might. I think panel states are kept in a different location than the main PMDG folder, but I'm not certain. Using panel states saved in an older version is generally not a good idea when updating to a newer version in any case. Gilles Menghetti just run the oc first before you uninstall the ngx than install the new one than run the oc again and it will fix any missing liveries you had installed. As Jim pointed out you need to delete any panel states you had made since you most likely will have issues with the new version I7-8700k,Corsair h1101 cooler ,Asus Strix Gaming Intel Z370 S11 motherboard, Corsair 32gb ramDD4,, gtx 1080ti Card, RM850 power supply Peter kelberg
