You'll need to read all my posts in this thread from the start, one of my PC Visual Studio will CTD if I apply the updates, the other PC was BSOD and ran a repair but still had some issues.

After posting on the P3D forum, here is what Rob McCarthy had to say:

It appears my only course of action is to udgrade to P3D V4.1.

So probably quite a few of us (running P3D V3.X) will look forward to around November 14th, 2017 when Microsoft is intended to release a respective patch to correct the occuring CTDs.
