Coming Ariane 737-800

Featured Replies

Do yourself a favour: Use the search function and check for Ariane posts, that might give you second thoughts. ( That is ofcourse if you are considering buying it, if not disregard my post)

Hi,I have now two of their products and my experience with this company is really good. When I had a quistion they replied very quick on it, I also formatted my pc a few times and reinstalling went perfectly and I received my key alway within two hours, except for the weekend.I also kwnow pretty much about the system of the 737 and the Ariane is the closest one on the market as far I know.I also flew in the PMDG a few times but this isn't really how to realy thing is.Maybe they were different in the past but I can highly recommened their NG serie.I already posted a few screenshots of the 600 V2 and the BBJ on this forum. These products are already great but I'm sure I'll get teh 800 too after looking at the screenshots.Anyway thank you for your reply but my experience with this company is really good maybe on of the best I ever had, they're very personal and take a lot of time to help you.Regards,Mathijs

>>I also flew in the PMDG a few times but this isn't really how>to realy thing is.>OK now that settles it, Araine PR at it again

wow, two and a half hours until the mandatory anti-Ariane flamewar! You guys are getting slow...

The PMDG 737 isn't perfect. Neither is the Ariane 737.Taken together you'd get very near perfection, as they pretty well complement one another (iow, what's missing in one is done in the other and vv).

"OK now that settles it, Araine PR at it again"Alex, please cease and desist. If members continue to prohibit other members from positive discussion of Ariane, you're going to see comments like the one about PMDG as members get defensive. It isn't PR--it's about people paying money and then someone else tells them by insinuation that they are "dumb" or "stupid" for doing so. I am starting to lose my "grip" when I continually see these threads hijacked by those with a beef against Ariane. You didn't start it Alex, in all fairness, but please don't continue it. If members don't like Ariane, don't contribute to this thread. I don't think the author's intent was for the thread to become another bashfest. -John

I would need to wait until my tax refund comes back before I could probably afford it.

I agree. Here we go again. Here we have a guy who starts an informative thread in good intentions and it immediately gets hijacked. This has been discussed in a few topics recently.I strongly recommend people take gratuitous cheap shots like you saw above with a grain of salt. If people have a legitmate beef with Ariane they should resolve it in a respectable way. Trash talking anonymously is not an example of that. In fact it may be an indicator of why their relationship with this company went south in the first place.

I have no problem with people discussing something, but when they start bashing another product is when I chime in

"I have no problem with people discussing something, but when they start bashing another product is when I chime in"Hmmmm--then why didn't you chime in at the beginning, when the first post was raised suggesting someone look at the history of Ariane? I call that bashing. Or do you selectively chime in? I call it as I see it. -John

Come one people, why do some of you stick in the past?let's talk about how the company's today and the products they make today.I have read all topics about Ariane and some of them are negative, well again I have a totally different experience. So what do you guys say about the screenshots, I think they really have looked good at teh details!i hope they will realese it very soon, really can't wait :)Regards,Mathijs

Because that person was just pointing out the practices they have either experienced themselves or read in the many many many many topics on these boards. That is different than bashing the quality of one or the other. That person never said, check out the bad history of this company, buy PMDG instead!

Well I had a run in once with them but they bent over backwards to help me sort the problem out in the end. I for one will defo get the 737 800 when its out. I also own the PMDG 737 and to be honest I think they compliment each other. Just my two cents worth, im just taking them as I find them, like I say they helped me, dont get me wrong everyone's entitled to an opinion but why not take them as you personally find them. All the bestRichard:-wave
