March 28, 200620 yr "Fight Simulator will exit now. You may not have enough free space in your hard drive. Run Disk Cleanup and try again." I have 25 Gyga of free space. I had reinstalled FS9 but it comes with the same errors. Any ideas???Cheers,MAB;(
March 28, 200620 yr That error is the usual sign of duplicate airport AFCADs, that is if you have installed a number of free or payware airport addons. It could also happen if you used an older version of Ultimate Terrain for Canada/Alaska. There are myriad topics in this forum on such matters. Do a search on "memory" or the phrase "out of memory"Randy Jura, KPDX
March 28, 200620 yr Have you limited the amount of space available to your pagefile (swapfile)? If so, Windows may be running out of swapspace. This is mainly a problem of machines that are stressed for RAM (rather than harddiskspace).

March 28, 200620 yr Thanks guys for the quick response:I am up and running again. I think it is in the Add-on Scenery like Randy said (some new AFCAD) which is the only thing I keep on adding. ScanAFD can
March 29, 200620 yr Hi Check this program, it solves my Out of memory problems.http://www.ranainside.com/software_flightsim_manager.htmlwith a comprehensive Diagnostic Tools and Repository feature, FSM keeps your FS installation clean. Apart from the usual Missing and unused gauges, FSM can also locate Aircraft problems, Missing and unused effects, and Scenery Problems with an unique LandClass File relocate feature - say bye-bye to all those memory leaks.Hope this helps.Edin HasanovicA320&ATR42 Maintenance engineerhttp://www.inet.hr/vegabric
April 2, 200620 yr Author >Hello,>This is a "classic" error when a Landclass .bgl file is placed>in a scenery folder and a texture folder is associated.>Many topics about this are available.I have now also encountered this problem. Can you elaborate? How do you find these files? The most rescent thing I can remember doing is uninstall and reinstalling Scandinavian airports Sweden 2. I also have UT Terrain USA and Europe and GE. I changed two files ending with .XXX to .bgl because of a problem with water around Montreol. Could that be it? BTW I have 1 M RAM and at least 30 Gb harddrive space. The virtual memory set to 4096 Mb. Also I tried running the utility suggested in this thread and it founds a lot of problems which was addressed but the memory message keeps coming still. The flight where I encounter this problem is from Copenhagen to London in a LD767.
April 3, 200620 yr Thank you for this reference, I too have just been getting the error notice after I did some defrags .............strange, I just did an install of ASV patch and installed the Trackr4, so it is hard to pinpoint what may have caused this, but if this program can clean it up, THAT WOULD BE SO GREAT111 If there are any hints on running this program, that would be also appreciated, thanks,, RRL
April 3, 200620 yr Author >That error is the usual sign of duplicate airport AFCADs,How can you find out if you have duplicate AFCADS? And then which file to delete?

April 4, 200620 yr Edin, just have to get back to you on this, I downloaded this FS Manager program and ran the fixes..........THIS IS REALLY GREAT, seems like all the scenery files are clear as a bell, no more memory errors!! Don't know how they do this but it is the solver of my problems (for now), and it appears to be free, but I will go back into the site as sometimes they will take contributions...they reall desearve one!! Many thanks for this, guess everyone could use this just for a cleanup............RRL
