November 19, 20178 yr Well, in a middle of a flight I JUST lost my S & A functionality. Not happy at all. Not in the least happy. I wondered what the heck happened as it worked five minutes ago! Jack Sawyer

Keven, I understand this, but I really need the original, default, P3D S & A functionality for training purposes. Please tell me how I can get it back even if I have to stop using experimental mode. For now, 3 options: 1- Follow what has been described as a permanent solution here: 2- Switch back to the Stable channel but the same issue will come back when we push the current build to the Stable channel. 3- Adjust to the new cycle Can you explain to me why you need the A and S keys? I most likely have a solution for you. Keven Menard Technical Director, //42.

Why do I need the A and S keys? Because they're P3D default. Enough said. You do not really need to go mucking about with LM's design, I for one do not like it. Please bring back the S & A keys. It's all I ask, I don't need all the other fancy features, I just need the basic LM functions in place. Jack Sawyer
November 19, 20178 yr And I dot not have a CLUE as to what you're talking about in that other thread. I am not a programmer. Also, please tell me why you need to deviate from LM? Jack Sawyer

You don't need to be a programmer... Go in Options > Controls in Prepar3D At the top right of the Options window, you have a search field Search for view camera You will be presented with the following choices: View camera 0 (select) View camera 1 (select) View camera 2 (select) View camera 3 (select) View camera 4 (select) View camera 5 (select) View camera 6 (select) View camera 7 (select) View camera 8 (select) View camera 9 (select) You can set the button you want to certain views. They are not described with their names as they are variable depending on the configuration files. I have matched them for you so you don't have to search. Match the numbers to the View camera X (select) 0 = Unused 1 = On-Board (ChasePlane) 2 = Cockpit 3 = Locked Spot 4 = Top-Down 5 = Static (ChasePlane) 6 = Outside (ChasePlane) 7 = Unused 8 = Gimbal (ChasePlane) 9 = Unused Is it clearer like that? Not clear at all, I still don't understand what I need to do. I have a Saitek yoke and I use the Saitek software to assign views in mode 2. In mode two I press up on C1 to get S and down on C2 to get A. Now, how in the world do I do that with what you just described? I really don't have any idea how I can link S & A to the above. November 19, 20178 yr Also, you never answered my question, why is it so important that you override Lockheed's design? I'm BEGGING you to put them back. Jack Sawyer
