Do I have to add that perhaps after the Flight Gear entry? Also, can the map be enlarged as it's rather small as it is ideally would like it to fit full screen. Did you download the proper version? There are two (actually three) versions for Simconnect-based simulators, for X-Plane, and for Flightgear. By default, all go into the same directory though. The AirMap.ini file of my local installation has the following entry [X-Plane] IPAddress=127.0.0.1 Port=12345 ..... I don't have the networked machine running right now, but it should be similar (with obviously different numbers.) Yes, you can maximize the map. There's a button for doing so. On the PlanG option: You have to point the Database build to the proper network-shared directory to read your files from the server machine. The best (and fastest) option is to build the X-Plane (and other) databases on the local machine and transfer the database over the network to the remote machine. The same applies to FS-FlightConnect, btw. November 22, 20178 yr Author Hi Michael, will have. To go through everything to make sure I am doing things right, I can’t believe it can be that difficult, just a question of getting the address and port to match on both machines??? I am still confused about how to get Plan G on the slave machine to read the Plan G database files created on the master, Does this need FTP or similar, not done any of this for years, I could copy over the required files to my external hard drive and then transfer to the appropriate Plan G folder on the slave if I knew which folder the files are in on the master and which files to copy over. I assume if I did that Plan G on the slave would recognise the files or is there something else I need to do. November 22, 20178 yr The IP address to enter into the ini file at the client should be that of the server. If you don't know it, you can read it off (e.g.) using ipconfig in a command window. Of course you should assign static IP addresses to your machines (google), otherwise (using DHCP, what most routers do automatically) you may get another IP every time you boot up your machines. The port should be left "12345". You may check that it's in the AirMapServer.ini file being located under \X-Plane 11\Resources\plugins. On PlanG: I defined network shares for the corresponding directories (google). However, you are right, you can also do it using a stick. Will have to keep trying in the hope that eventually one of the progs will work across 2 machines. I guess I should have worded it better, If you currently own EFASS NG it still works as the servers are still up. If you own V1 of EFASS that is no longer supported you cannot upgrade to EFASS NG since the developer is not around. --Sean Hart
